FBG Awards Alliant Energy with it’s GREENGUARD Certification for Cedar Rapids Headquarters

Alliant Energy’s Manager of Facility Operations Denny Mauss receives the GREENGUARD certificate from FBG’s Cedar Rapid’s District Manager Tom Montgomery. Operations Manager Nora Winchester and Operations Superviser Ana Rodriguez.

FBG uses Diversey’s Green Seal® certified cleaning products and a cleaning system certified for indoor air quality by GREENGUARD. The GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certification Program is endorsed by both The Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) and the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Building Rating Systems. It is arguably the most advanced cleaning regimen and one that we provide to schools and businesses across the country.

Alliant Energy’s commitment to sustainability reaches far beyond this building’s green cleaning program. According to their 2018 Sustainability Report, the company has 17 sustainable development goals that look at traditional environmental issues such as clean water, affordable and clean energy, and responsible consumption and production. But as with many visionary organizations, they are also looking at holistic goals such as Zero Hunger, Quality Education, Gender Equality, Decent Work and Economic Growth. FBG is proud to help support all their goals even if it starts with how we their floors.
