Electrostatic Disinfection System (EDS)

Electrostatic Disinfection System sprayer in use

Time to Disinfect Your Facility?

Combine the experience of FBG with an induction-charged electrostatic sprayer for an unbeatable combination of germ-fighting power.

FBG uses EPA registered disinfectants that are approved to kill the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19. FBG offers an Electrostatic Disinfection System (EDS) – a full room spray application used as a preventative treatment or in response to suspected or positive COVID cases.

FBG has trained Disinfection Specialists who patrol high traffic areas and can respond to any outbreaks with full EDS treatments.

Exactly what is Electrostatic Disinfection?
EDS produces small, electrically charged micro-droplets that repel (not overlap) each other, enabling our hospital-grade disinfectant to reach 100% of all exposed – and hidden – surfaces. In fact, the disinfectant used is EPA-registered, CDC-approved and has a kill claim for COVID-19.

Electrostatics is the process of adding an electric charge to liquid droplets when sprayed. Within minutes, the fine mist dries and the solution bonds providing the best defense possible.

Levels of Response for COVID-19

FBG’s Emergency Response Teams are armed with several Electrostatic Disinfection Systems offering three levels of disinfection.

Level 1: Preventive Standard EDS Service

Level 1 can be delivered as a one-time treatment, weekly or on a variable frequency. We also suggest high-touch point cleaning as part of an effective preventive cleaning program. This would include:

  • Door handles
  • Light switches
  • Railings
  • Tabletops
  • Chair arms
  • Telephones
  • Keyboards and mouse
  • Copier panels
  • Kitchen fixtures: Tables, chairs, water cooler, handles of cupboards, refrigerators, coffee pots
  • Restroom fixtures: Toilet flush handle, dispensers, sink and door handles

EDS is a great solution for

Call Centers

Customer Care Centers

Fitness Centers

Fleets

Classrooms

Daycare Facilities

For Levels 2 and 3, the timing of your request is vital to scheduling

Level 2: Suspected COVID-19 Response

An EDS treatment will be required before normal cleaning will resume.

Evaluation: Can affected area/floor be isolated? Has exposure been absent for 24 hours?

A Standard EDS treatment will be performed by FBG’s Emergency Response Team.

Level 3: Confirmed COVID-19 Response

An EDS treatment will be required before normal cleaning will resume.

Evaluation: Can affected area be isolated? Has exposure been absent for 72 hours?

IF YES – A Standard EDS treatment will be performed by FBG’s Emergency Response Team

IF NO – A three step EDS protocol will be performed by FBG’s Emergency Response Team which includes pre-EDS treatment, full cleaning of surfaces, followed by post-EDS treatment.

FBG will provide you with a level of clean that we know will give you and your employees extra peace of mind during this difficult time.
