At FBG, we believe brainpower makes a better cleaning agent than elbow grease.

To support that belief, we created FBG University--our own institute of higher learning, ongoing training and professional development. Our goal is to provide the tools for everyone in our company to advance to the highest level of their ability. The dedicated FBG University Team features certified trainers in each region to oversee training and career development programs and publish Standardized Orientation Training guides to help achieve that goal.

Together with advanced management training and ISO/BSCAI courses, it offers employees an ongoing opportunity for advancement by doing the best job possible. In fact, many of FBG’s top executives started out in the field, including our founder and CEO Wayne Simmonds. FBG University gives our employees the tools and training to perform at their highest levels. As owners of the company, that knowledge is put to work every day providing clean, safe and healthy environments for our customers.

Management Programs
FBG’s Management Development Program offers advancement training to give all employees the opportunity to advance to the highest level of their ability. Managers and supervisors, including front line supervisors, can also attend courses presented by AIM, The American Institute of Management, Inc. These include:

• Effective Supervision and Management
• Personal Productivity
• Facilitation

ISO/BSCAI Programs
Building Maintenance Division and Facility Service Management Division employees are also encouraged to broaden their experience into ISO Internal Audit training. BSCAI (The Building Service Contractors Association International) produces high quality training and professional development programs. Managers are encouraged to take advantage of the certification programs from BSCAI and educational programs provided by AIM (The American Institute of Management).
